Traveling with kidsA colony of tame marmots lives at Spielboden, active from May to mid-October. The cable car takes you up in about 8 minutes, and the marmot trail starts at the top station. You can buy food at the tourist office and at Spielboden. It works best early in the morning or later in the afternoon; at midday it is too hot for them.

The Weissmies hut at dusk: warm windows, cool air and the mountains as neighbors.

In the fall the forests of the Saas Valley turn gold, the air is clear and the first snow lies on the peaks.
Eighteen peaks over 4,000 meters stand around Saas-Fee. They shape the valley, and they are the reason so many guests come back.
The cable cars of the Saas Valley take you to the viewpoints and hiking trails. Prices, timetables and passes are available from the lift companies.
In summer, the cable cars for hikers in Saas-Fee and Saas-Almagell are included in the Magic Pass (except summer skiing and Metro Alpin). In winter you ride all lifts, Metro Alpin included. One pass for around 100 destinations.

Example 2026/27: from CHF 419 for adults and CHF 282 for kids.
The bus is not included in the Magic Pass. Prices and sales periods change every year; the information from Magic Pass is binding.
