Definitely one of my favorites. Great advice and awesome boards, with Lib Tech the big brand here. I bought my last board here. Without my asking, they gave me a good discount and a voucher for a tune-up. Thanks a lot, I’ll be back!

Our favorite shops in the village, with honest comments. For renting, buying and browsing.
To the map Our tipsAll the shops in the Saas Valley on our own village map. Pick the village at the top of the map (Saas-Fee, Saas-Grund or Saas-Almagell), tap a symbol and see the details. You can drag and zoom the map. Our personal tips are further down.
This is where we buy and rent ourselves. All the shops carry skis and snowboards, each with its own character.

A great snowboard shop with perfect advice. They carry the typical brands like Burton, Capita and Volcom. The guys here are real snowboarders and awesome on the slopes, too. They offer rentals, try & buy, a ski depot right by the slope and a modern service with a grinding robot.
Another one of my favorite shops. The staff are super friendly and the brands are top. There is a very good sportswear collection, and the shop is great at custom-made insoles for boots. Ski rentals are excellent; there are only a few snowboards. You simply get good gear here. There are other Intersport shops in the village, such as Sportart and belMont.
Cesar Sport has lots of great locations, and all the shops are very well stocked with winter sports gear. One is right by the Alpin Express, about 100 m from Haus Achat. Another is not much farther, toward Spielboden. I can highly recommend these shops, too.
If you prefer something a little smaller, you are in good hands here. The locals still work in the shop themselves and have run it for decades. Sales, service and a depot for skis and boards.
Also small, personal and with lots of know-how. We have rented a small ski room for the Schmitta at Felixsport for a long time. Everything is super friendly, and the location is ideal, right in front of the ski schools’ meeting point. According to their website, booking online gets you 15% off.

There are good sports shops with rentals and service there too, close to the Hohsaas and Heidbodme ski areas. A shuttle bus runs from the Alpin Express to Saas-Grund. The details come from the official directory of ski and snowboard rentals in the Saas Valley.
A family ski rental for over 25 years, with ski service and race-structure grinding. According to their website, they deliver to Saas-Fee and Saas-Grund for free.

Sports shop on the village square of Saas-Almagell.
A super fun shop with lots of games, souvenirs and decor. A local institution where I have been shopping since I was little.
An exciting shop for anyone who likes to browse and buy something small (or bigger). From decor to cashmere scarves there are lots of interesting products. I have often found gifts here.
In the car-free village everything is close together: supermarkets, bakeries and the butcher are all within walking distance. The details come from the official Saas-Fee directory. Best to check opening hours directly with the shops.
We do not know all of these shops personally. The list comes from the village business directory. Best to check opening hours and offers directly on site.
